Andy Kniffin CPYB

As a 4th generation native Floridian, Andy was a professional captain for over twenty years delivering yachts of all types throughout the Caribbean, as well as film (ask about Miami Vice), salvage and many years as a private celebrity captain (read discretion and confidentiality skills). Challenging and satisfying work that was of the stuff good stories are made of. And of course, like every good captain, years of participating and directing countless refits and repairs in boat yards helped him to develop a close network of professional vendors and technical know-how.

Andy has been a full-time yacht broker for over 11 years; specializing in pilothouse and cockpit motoryachts in the 50-130' range. He is well-known and quite active within the South Florida brokerage community. Andy has a long list of close relationships with customers who have a passion for yachting and believes that his success stems from his years of captaining experience and commitment to after-sales support.

Jay Cohen

Another native Flordian: Jay is the ultimate Fisherman's fisherman. Few people on this earth have the fishing experience that Jay brings to the table - from setting IGFA records, to kite fishing billfish to deep dropping for snowy groupers to catching trophy-sized thresher sharks - he has done it all! Jay owns an active charter operation with a 54' Andy Mortenson "Spellbound" out of Haulover Inlet, FL. Whether buying a dual - purpose Bahamas hopper or gearing up to do world-class Tournaments; Jay's expertise and continuing guidance will help you achieve your wildest fishing dreams!!

Rob Loveall

Yet another Florida native whose forefathers were private captains; Rob is an expert megayacht captain. He has commanded a variety of yachts ranging from 60' Sportfish (expert fisherman and diver) to a 161' Delta motoryacht over the last 20 years. With experience in the North American, Caribbean and Mediterranean waters, he is intimately familiar with all aspects of large yacht management and operations (you won't see many resumes like his). Like the rest of the Kniffin Marine Group team, he is dedicated to serving the yachtsfolk who make our jobs possible; guiding them along best path to fulfilling that dream. Robbie offers outstanding and remarkable life experience to those who wish to enjoy the Yachting lifestyle in a BIG way!

Mark Ellis

Mark is our British Columbia representative and native; residing on Bowen Island just outside of Vancouver. He is an avid, lifelong yachting enthusiast who has interacted for many years with the yacht industry in South Florida. Mark is a craftsman whose hobbies include refitting yachts into modern showpieces. Given the ease of transporting yachts to just about any worldwide destination, British Columbia is coming into its own as a world destination for cruising. Mark is well-plugged into the yachting scene in the Pacific Northwest and offers expert knowledge and wisdom.
